The Euro 2024 Opening Ceremony is only a matter of hours away. However, news emerged that the event could not be celebrated with fireworks due to the regulations in force in Germany.

Germany continues to prepare ahead of the opening ceremony of Euro 2024 which will be held on Friday (14/6) local time. Before the first duel between Germany and Scotland at the Allianz Arena, Euro 2024 will open with a series of events.

Reportedly, the opening ceremony will take place at the Fussball Arena, Munich, 30 minutes before the start of the Germany versus Scotland duel. At this event there will be a number of top artists, such as Le Shuuk, DJ Robin Schulz, Leony, and Topic.

However, this time the Euro opening ceremony is threatened without fireworks. Because, according to German media, Sportschau , the local government has advised organizers not to use fireworks.

According to regulations in force in Germany, it is against the law to burn fireworks in stadiums without a permit. The basis is the law regarding explosives.

Violators also have the opportunity to receive sanctions. Sanctions that are likely to be applied are fines and bans from stadiums. Usually, punishment is imposed on individuals who violate.

Meanwhile, UEFA has reportedly stated that the fireworks display at the opening ceremony of Euro 2024 will not violate regulations. Because, everything is in accordance with security and safety procedures.

Euro 2024 will start on June 15 2024 and end on July 15 Indonesian time. There are several countries that are favored to be the winners, such as Germany, Portugal, England and France.
